Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to join our team for weekend-only shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday . In this essential role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and well-being.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and helping clients maintain their independence. Key Responsibilities
• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure that clients receive proper nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and documentation of medication administration.
• Engage clients in social activities and offer emotional support.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Work closely with families to provide the best care possible.
• Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a strong commitment to helping others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Weekend availability is required for this position.
