In Vivo Pharmacology
• Design and develop animal models, execute in vivo experiments to evaluate the biological efficacy of novel therapeutic agents.
• Independently lead in vivo service projects and preclinical studies, acting as Project Manager or Study Director.
• Perform animal handling, tumor inoculation, drug administration via multiple routes, blood and tissue collection, tumor measurements, and PK/PD studies.
• Design and execute internal model-building projects and characterize various humanized mouse models.
• Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance to junior associates.
• Collaborate closely with the BD/Sales team for client project planning and technical discussions.
• Present project results to clients and internal stakeholders; prepare scientific reports and summaries.
• Mentor and facilitate the growth of junior research associates.
In Vitro and Ex Vivo Pharmacology
• Independently develop, validate, and perform a broad range of in vitro and ex vivo assays including:
• Immune cell profiling from blood and tissues.
• Functional assays using primary cells (T cells, NK cells, macrophages).
• Cytokine profiling, cytotoxicity, and apoptosis assays.
• Develop new assay technologies by researching scientific literature and adapting methodologies from collaborations and other internal teams.
• Perform flow cytometry (FACS), ELISA, Western blot, qRT-PCR, and multiplex cytokine analyses.
• Contribute to the design and support of in vivo pharmacology studies from an in vitro perspective.
• Present research findings at internal meetings and contribute to external scientific discussions.
• PhD in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or related biomedical field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in animal models and preclinical in vivo pharmacology.
• Proven skills in cell-based immunological assays including T cell activation, NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, and macrophage functional assays.
• Proficiency in PK/PD model establishment and analysis.
• Expertise in flow cytometry, cytokine profiling (ELISA, qRT-PCR, multiplex assays), and immune cell isolation from tissues.
• Experience with surgical procedures in rodents is highly desirable
• Cross-functional knowledge across therapeutic areas is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
