Experienced Accountant Experienced Accountant ====================== We are recruiting an Experienced Accountant for a well\-established international company based in Basel. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounting, and audit coordination within a dynamic and growing business. Experienced Accountant ====================== The position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, exposure to Swiss accounting standards, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative international environment. **Your responsibilities** * Manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and accruals * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER * Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analyses * Support budgeting and variance analysis * Assist with tax and VAT\-related matters * Coordinate external audits and act as a key contact for auditors and relevant authorities * Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support payment processing activities * Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls **Your profile** * Commercial education (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification * Further education in finance and accounting (or currently pursuing a relevant qualification) * Several years of experience in Swiss financial accounting * Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting regulations (OR) and experience with Swiss GAAP FER; IFRS exposure is beneficial * Experience working with auditors and regulatory authorities is an advantage * Fluent German and English (written and spoken) * Independent, reliable, and detail\-oriented working style with strong analytical skills * Good knowledge of Microsoft 365; experience with SAP Business One and/or LucaNet is a plus ![ Walters Switzerland]() * Walters Switzerland AG Paul Teisseire * [Write an email](<>) * [](<>) ![ Walters Switzerland]() * Walters Switzerland AG Paul Teisseire * [Write an email](<>) * [](<>) Experienced Accountant Experienced Accountant ====================== We are recruiting an Experienced Accountant for a well\-established international company based in Basel.
