· Plan and deliver high-quality IB DP Economics lessons.
· Teach key areas of Economics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics and the global economy.
· Prepare students for IB assessments and support their Internal Assessment work.
· Use real-world examples, data and case studies to promote inquiry and critical thinking.
· Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
· Collaborate with the IB DP Coordinator, colleagues and parents/guardians.
· Follow school policies on safeguarding, academic integrity and professional conduct.
· Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Political Economy, Education or a related field.
· Teaching experience in secondary education, ideally within the IB DP or another international curriculum.
· Strong knowledge of Economics and ability to explain concepts clearly.
· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
· Strong classroom management, communication and collaboration skills.
· Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding and continuous professional development.
· Formal IB DP training/certification in Economics will be considered an advantage.
