Population Services Kenya (PS Kenya) is the premier social & behavior change, social marketing & franchising organization in Kenya with over 30 years of experience measurably improving the health of Kenyans by supporting the Ministry of Health (MoH) in addressing public health.
In collaboration with other partners, PS Kenya implements Reproductive, Maternal, New-born, Child, and Adolescent health (RMNCAH), HIV, Malaria, and TB programs. The organizational goal is to reduce morbidity and mortality and improve the health of Kenyans, with the vision to be the leader in delivering sustainable health impact and private health sector engagement. PS Kenya recognizes the vital role of the private health sector in service provision in Kenya. The organization focuses on strengthening the quality of healthcare provision in the private sector through various initiatives such as introducing health innovations, provider behavior change, and the social franchising model (Tunza).
Additionally, PS Kenya is a leader in Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) and the commercial component of health interventions. The organizationâs approach to SBCC is evidence-based and community-led, co-created with the communities it serves to address social and individual factors hindering behavior change. PS Kenya also markets quality and affordable health products and services to reduce barriers to access and leverages the private sector distribution chain to reach those in need.
