About the Role: Accounting Manager As our Accounting Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Your Impact You will support day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure service standards are consistently delivered. You’ll act as a bridge between leadership and frontline teams—driving accountability, engagement, and results. What You’ll Be Doing Operations & Execution • Ensure smooth, efficient operations aligned with brand standards • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement • Deliver consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment Guest Experience • Deliver exceptional service rooted in passion for hospitality • Anticipate needs and respond with a solutions-first mindset • Create memorable, personalized experiences for every guest Team Collaboration • Work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals • Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment • Support a culture of respect, energy, and accountability Compliance & Standards • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures • Maintain accuracy in processes, reporting, and documentation • Uphold a culture of accountability and operational excellence • Prepare timely weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual financial reports and plans for the properties. • Preparation and ensure accuracy of daily hotel revenues via income journal. • Monitor and control of hotel operations, and operating forecasts for the property. • Reconcile daily front desk interface posting to include guestrooms and all restaurant/bar, all credit card charges. • Prepare refunds and rebate adjustments; Prepare journal entries for adjustments; Prepare special billings; Prepare and process month end journal entries and reports as requested by Director of Finance. • Completes daily income audit and journals; reviews own work and ensures their accuracy prior to submitting for review. • Responsible for recording and reviewing credit card and batch processes, collections and daily cash and credit card reconciliations. • Credit management of current and new applicants; weekly reporting, collections, and bad debt; Review and research credit balances. • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Leadership Requirements • Proven leadership experience in hospitality or related industry • Ability to drive performance, accountability, and team engagement • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities • Experience managing operations, budgets, or departmental goals • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and innovation Technical / Role-Specific Requirements (Customize Per Role) Ability to deal effectively with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.  This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in one or more of the following financial accounting systems preferred D365, Profit Sword, SAGE, SAP, etc. Prior experience in hotel systems preferred (i.e. Micros, Opera, etc.). Education (Optional / Adjustable) • A.S or B.S degree in Accounting / Finance preferred; or Minimum 2-year accounting experience, hotel experience preferred.
